It's taken a year of healing and processing to be able to write this review for Jolene. After reading the other glowing reviews, I feel that Jolene must have had a personal disliking for me, specifically, but it affected her level of care to such a degree that I could never recommend her as a midwife. During our prenatal appointments I felt that Jolene and I didn't really have a connection, but I chalked it up to differing personalities, and I felt that she was a skilled and knowledgeable midwife and that was what mattered, ... read more
I've had the joy and pleasure of working with Jolene as a doula, and she's always served her clients, so we'll! I always look forward to my births with her as the provider.
First time mom here! I learned so much from Jolene throughout my pregnancy. She listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. She also made sure I was on top of my diet and nutrition, which is key to having a healthy pregnancy. She encouraged me every step of the way. Once my baby was born, she took great care of both of us during those first 6 wks postpartum. Any time I would text her with a concern about my baby she immediately responded. Overall had an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Jolene is very pro-active in her approach to using education, nutrition, exercise, and supplements to set yourself up for labor/delivery and postpartum! She sent long emails detailing the options and choices that come along with healthy pregnancy, home birth, and newborn care, stating pros and cons of the options and the research behind them, and then respected whichever choices I made.
