The school itself is great. Unfortunately, one of the instructors tends to be under the influence during and after school hours so I recommend not taking the dental assisting program. Instructors should be drug tested.
On multiple occasions I have seen and know that one teacher is under the influence of multiple drugs. I believe the school doesn’t care enough about their students to take action against what’s happening whether it’s in school or not it is affecting students trying to better their lives and for that I do not recommend education here
teachers are very inappropriate with students, they aren't drug tested and one seems to be under the influence in the workplace, not sure how no one has noticed this or done anything. i do not recommend trying to further an education at this institute.
Don’t waste your time in the Dental assistant program. Waste of 13k in student loans and you don’t have to be certified in the state of Illinois. Some doctors will hire you right off the street. I’d give this place 4 thumbs down.

I had a wonderful experience here, I will say you have to be ready to put your all in. I took medical Assistant course, it was very fast paced and you have to really study. I had lots of help along way lots of the teachers offered to help anyway they could even the ones who were not my instructor. I was applying for medical office Assistant position while I was attending and I was little shaken but after talking to my instructor I was more than confident. I am only half way through my 4th week in the Journeyman Welding II program, but it has been amazing so far. The instructors are great, the hands on is amazing, and the staff couldn't be more friendly. I believe I have made a solid choice for my future with MTI.
