Don't trust them, don't use them unless you want to fight with people who would rather cheat you then do the right thing. Their accounting practices are not acceptable. When asked for an itemized statement, they can't produce one. Thank God I kept my payment receipts!
If you spend over $5000 on granite countertops, wouldn't you expect some follow up after installation to make sure you were satisfied? Not only did we not get that, we never heard from them again, never even received a final bill from them, until a year and a half later when they must have realized they lost track of us and demanded their money. My experience with Midwest Stone Source was excellent. Denise was very helpful and gave great suggestions. She was willing to drive out to my house to help me pick a color for the counter that would match my current cabinets, floor and walls. I felt overwhelmed trying to decide what color and style of countertop to go with and she was very helpful. Once she suggested a countertop I was able to come in and look at the slab.
