Founded in 2011 by some close friends and family, Midwest Steel Carports has been growing gradually but steadily. With only a handful of local people working from our office, including our owners, a secretary/salesperson, a sales consultant, and our building installers, we have been growing together as a family and as a company. We have sold many buildings, through our years, and every year we build more than the previous year.

ordered 18x20 enclosed carport w/5 x 20 enclosure. Upgraded to 26ga. steel, had everything signed & $2661 down payment paid 10/23/23. 11/22/23 I receive email stating the vendor could not get original color ordered & I agreed to change it. My order continued to be delayed due to the vendor. You can't always blame the "other guy". 12/14/23, delivery scheduled. I started May of 2022 with the Co. website simulator and created a perfect 20x22 garage. This Co. is dishonest and I highly recommend not to sign a contract with them. I paid $1,116.00 for a roll-up door that I was totally taken on and they took the 1st door back because I forked out another $2,000.00 for the overhead door. I never received a credit or any refund for the 1st door to my account. I was told that the overhead door was on back order about 6-8 weeks, and late Oct 2022 the door was installed. Allen S and his team at Midwest Steel Carports were very helpful to us with the initial installation of our carport last fall. The team was hard working, efficient, and dependable. All the workers were respectful of the space and property; they cleaned up so well, you could barely tell they had been there. They also helped us with some additional work we needed added to the carport this year. We highly recommend Allen and his team for any type of covered steel structures you may need.
Had a 30X50 Building put up in ****** **. I was very on edge ordering a building from the internet given a lot of bad reviews that I had read, but from the moment I got a quote till the building was in I have to say I was very impressed with the communication from Midwest and workmanship of the building. We did have a couple of minor issues that caused a one week delay in getting the building finished but the great people at Midwest quickly corrected the issues and got the building done. Gave them a down payment in October with the promise that it would be just a matter of weeks to construct my 16 x 28 x 8 car port. At the end of November after going thru several of there "departments" we received a date of the 27th of December. 2 weeks before the 27th we were told it will be a few weeks after the 27th. We are getting the feeling that they will claim they need to push it out till spring while they hang on to my Deposit for 6 months.
