TLDR: Don't use if you value your time and money. We contracted Midwest Solars because we wanted to stay with a local company. Communication and progress were good until it was actually time to meet timelines that were discussed at the time when contracts were signed. According to Tom Wingert (company president) we were 30 days from install as of October 15, 2025. The first panel didn't go up until December 22, 2025. Over a month later than we were told. We are very pleased with our solar investment. This was a long process that Midwest Solars moved along smoothly. They were very quick to respond when we had questions and walked us through any paperwork. We wish we would have done this sooner. Our monthly electric costs now average $10 which is mostly the connection fees. If you're on the fence, we'd say it's worth it. It will pay for itself.
