To say Midwest Moving Co is a top notch moving company is an understatement. They were incredible! Kevin and his crew (Patrick & Marcus) showed up on time and went to work right away. They went from room to room wrapping everything up with moving blankets to ensure nothing was damaged. It was easy to tell that Kevin was an experienced mover, he and his crew ran like a well oiled machine. They were quick and efficient! We were guaranteed that our move would only be $350 for moving a studio apartment 2 miles away. The move took 2.5 hours and we were billed for $700. When I inquired why we were overcharged, they stated they ESTIMATED it would only take an hour and wanted to make it seem like they were "matching" another quote ($350) from a different moving company so we would go with them. Extremely deceptive and disappointing!!! If we would have known that we were being charged by the time, we would have helped out and cut that time in half... read more

Great crew of workers! Came in on the early side of the scheduled arrival time and got right to work. We did a quick walk through of items to be loaded, they laid down floor and carpet protectors, and then they started wrapping things up. Had our 4-bed, 2400 sq ft home packed up in 3 hrs (we did small stuff separately on our own, though they offered that service as well). Unloading was a breeze, finished in about 2.5 hrs.
