Unexpected family events came up and I had to cancel my appointment, they still decided to charge me. I informed them I was unable to meet to financial requirements or find a ride in. I honestly like the doctor here but the way business is conducted isn’t to help anyone and is more of a Financial repercussion or deterrent
Update 2024 If you have United Health Care check ur billing bc this place is out of network and telling you they are in network. Creating higher than normal bills!!! They are out of network with United Health Care and claim they are. Got billed expensive office visits and when I brought it up to their attention in office I was met with this is how insurance works. And this is normal. I am a patient at Midwest Medical Practitioners and truly appreciate everyone that works there. The two ladies in the DeSoto office are so sweet and kind! With this being sick season and my kids bringing home illness from school, I can truly say this office takes all the proper precautions to protect my health and those around me. Thank you Midwest Medical Practitioners!
They were good. Had a dr who cared. Now my last 3 appointments have been cancelled. Me scheduling off work to visit the dr is now me sitting at home bc they cancel my appointment every morning.
