"We are a family owned and operated business from Elkhart, IA. Zach and I (Dan) started a landscaping company due to our love for transforming spaces. What started as a hobby, turned into a passion. We love seeing a project from start to finish, where it came from the where we took it, being able to say we built that. We are blessed to be able to take other ideas and bring them to life for people. We do retaining walls, grading, paver patios, concrete patios, plants, edgers and more."

Midwest Landscapes and Hardscapes removed an old retaining wall, and installed new wall, stone steps, and sidewalk for us. This local family owned business was so responsive and easy to work with. We had Midwest Landscape take a hump out of our front yard and install 7 underground gutter drain spouts. This year’s frequent rain put them through the paces and they performed. We are happy with Midwest and will use them when the next need arises.
We love when we get a chance to do projects with Danny and Zach through our business. They communicate well, treat their customers like friends, and do high quality work. You won't go wrong having them transform your outdoor space! They are definitely Elk River Contracting's trusted partner for these types of projects!
I loved working with Dan, Zach and crew. They listened to my ideas, gave insightful guidance and were patient with all my questions and changes. And we LOVE our extended patio and landscaping! I will definitely be calling on them when I am ready to put in the raised garden beds.
