I’m new to Warrensburg and found everyone at the Heart Care Clinic to be professional and thorough. I’m confident that I received the best of care.
I am working on finding another place to go for a cardiologist and another Doc. I saw Dr. Marzella in January 2025 for my yearly. He came into my room asked me if I was taking my aspirin. I told him as I had told him earlier I couldn't take NSAIDS because of bariatric surgery (He signed off on the surgery as my heart was ok) . He then told me to continue my statins which I'm not on but on Praluent and told me I was going to block off my stent and have another heart attack. First appointment there I received no visit summary like i was supposed too or instructions on changes to the meds or any tests to be done. Front desk girl not properly trained didn't know how to put in a referral. Second appt the nurse didn't make the changes to my medications list the prior nurse put in some incorrectly from the first appt, ie milligrams or dosages. Dr. Mazzella is great though.
