Worst customer service I have encountered in all my life. charged 307 to pick up my mixer and take it back to the shop after their service tech stated the 2nd and 3rd gears were working but he couldn't fix the first speed. Midwest then informed me they needed 2300 to rebuild it and couldn't give me the mixer (and the 350 dollar attachments) back to me in the same order and needed money to get it back to that shape. Fishy to me when I read other reviews that they have screwed others. Oh yeah... they rebuilt this machine less ... read more

We understand that you are upset at the situation, We did not "rebuild this unit" previously , This is the first time we have ever worked on this serial number mixer.. As for the repair, 1st gear was broken and the bearing for the planetary had seized to the shaft. The Mixer needs the gears, the planetary and the shaft to be replaced to return to full service. If the mixer was rebuilt by another company recently it was not done to our standards as their is no way the gears were removed from the unit, since you cannot remove ... read more
