Well I have been a client of Midwest Equine for several years now. I have recently got a new horse just shy of 6 mos. He had coliced sometime in the night. So I call them for help. They said that it is now there policy that if they haven't seen that horse with the last 12 months or 6mos they cant do farm calls nor see the horse. I am not sure if this is there way to drum up business . How they think its humane to let a horse suffer or even die because you have not brought your horse there within the last 12 mos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We drove over 3 hours one way and it was worth it! Fantastic, caring staff.
Had to call for an emergency. They came out and treated the horse. Next day on a Saturday the vet called and asked how the horse was doing. Called again on Sunday for an update then texted a few days later.
Midwest Equine at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine - Farmer City equine clinic facility. A mix of established staff who know me and my horses, supporting the team of vets means continuity of care for my 3 horses. Great collaboration!
