Internet, Speeds vary depending on the hours, not close to the 1G we subscribed to. When it fast, it's great.
We had Frontier and to be kind it was very subpar. A year ago we switched to StarLink and that was fantastic. In march of 26 we had MEC available for the first time and decided to give it a try. It has been very relatable and consistent at 100mps down and 90mps up for $60 less than our StarLink.
We previously had consumers and since moving into this area using Midwest energy they are horrible with power outage customer service. They provide zero updates or estimated restoration timing for family and house planning. They need to get a better process for their customers. We all understand it takes time and there is some level of priority, but at minimum provide something! And make it easier to get in touch with someone - emails and phone calls go unanswered then the outage map shows nothing.
