Wish zero stars was an option. I asked ONLY for an estimate at a property we were over seeing to get the electrical disconnected at a secondary structure for a demolition. Not only did I never receive that estimate, Midwest took it upon themselves to send it to a 3rd party (Duke Energy) to rip the electric out of everything. Then, was hit with a $275 bill for "visiting the property twice" which I dont know why that was necessary. Then, for "orchestrating the 3rd party to fulfill the disconnection." Terrible customer service. Claims he’s too busy to answer questions on the phone but has enough time to respond to bad reviews. Go elsewhere with your business.

Called to schedule an appointment due to the electrical fuse box to my house not working for my kitchen and told them I have safety concerns for running extension cords across my house to the affected room was an inconvenience for them to talk about. I was told that he didn’t have time to answer any questions and that if I wasn’t scheduling an appointment he had too much going on to explain things to me or answer my questions. I used Midwest Electric to install a outdoor generator plug and interlock. I had done some research before, so I have a feel for how it should work. The interlock was installed incorrectly. I could have the generator on and the main circuit on too. I fixed it myself while taking out an adapter. The following day I went outside to test my plug, turns out it didn’t work.
