They starve the residents...this place is nothing but a drugless, alcoholess, frat house. Impossible to speak with a counselor. Downstairs is very dirty. This facility is no way structured to help in rehabilitation.
The staff at Midwest wellness and Recovery we're very helpful. They helped me regain my life from addiction. And realize there was more to life than drugs. In the time I've been sober I have regained a relationship with my oldest son and made a lot of new sober friends and have had a lot of opportunities appear. I am beyond grateful for Midwest Recovery and Wellness. In my life, I have been to 17 different treatment facilities in the state of Iowa, and I can honestly say this place was a Godsend. For once, I didn’t feel forced to relive my past. I didn’t have to focus on triggers, name my drug of choice if I didn’t want to, or glorify the life I lived on the streets.
