This place is a scam! After a year of diet and exercise, I had finally met my goals. The person who sends in the paperwork, decided herself that I wasn't "unhealthy" enough for surgery. Didn't want to hear if the insurance company said yes or no. This place is a scam, why didn't they tell me before I went through a year of traveling, gas, office visits. Well I initially contacted them to have my Lap-band removed. I was told I had to have an upper endoscopy first. They scheduled right away without even an office visit which I thought was a bit unusual. I had a horrible experience afterwards. I felt extremely rushed . It was taking me a bit to come out of anesthesia. But the nurse was in there trying to rush me out. As far as surgery itself, I have no complaints, but the problems come how they run there clinic. I agree that they don't care alot about there patients and only want to get paid. They are in and out with you so quick you don't have time to think of questions you might have. Next they make patients go on this special type of scale which is supposed to tell people there muscle mass and body fat, which they tell people these results and sometimes tell patients they are not doing well according to there scale even though the pat... read more

Don't waste your time! After a year of dieting and exercising my paperwork finally got sent in to the insurance company, after playing phone tag with them and midwest, I finally got an answer from the insurance company to have midwest call provider services.... The doctors are the gold standard in our area for bariatric surgery. Always helpful and available at any time. They have the most thorough program from the informational seminar to followup for life!
