I have been using Midway muffler for well over 20 years. I can tell you from my own experience with Butch that he is an honest guy. Where these people get the opposite impression from him is beyond me.He has gone over and above the call of duty to help me and not just after he knew me for a while, but from day one. Feeling rather disenchanted from taking my car to 2 different shops to get my exhaust repaired, waiting over 4 hours to be told they couldn’t get the parts on Saturday (needed the entire exhaust, including catalytic converter), I posted my woes on facebook. Within a few hours 2 friends who didn’t know each other told me to take my car to Midway. So I called, talked with Butch- great guy- who told me to bring my car in. Very Dishonest Business!! I took my Mercedes Benz SL500 here to have catalytic converters replaced and front brake rotors and pads. When I came to pick up my car, my front bumper was demolished! It appeared to have been caught on a lift or curb bumper as it was ripped apart while moving in reverse. Butch denied having done anything. The car was almost not drivable due to parts hanging out but he insisted he did nothing. My insurance company contacted his, and because there were no witnesses, they denied my claim. Midway Muffler is awesome. Was the recommended spot for mufflers 15 or so years ago and still is. Was again recommended to Butch at Midway by a relative although I planned to call anyway. First trip for estimate was less than 10 minutes. Looked under the car said he could weld it and it would hold for a long while. I ask for an estimate to repair in the future. Made an appt for the next day. Was welded for $60, told me if it was his car he wouldn't worry about a muffler for a few years. Told me to use my tax money for someth... read more

I went in twice to this place, first time the mufflers actually came of where they had welded it to stay in place, second time the guy thought i had no knowledge on my mustang because im 19, ive been building cars since i was 14 all i needed was an exhaust installed he tells me he cant give me an estimate beacuse he dosent know what exhaust ima buy? i dont see how that made any sense so i left dont go to this place

Midway Muffler shop is the Best....... My brother, Bob Gold, was a famous local Corvette restorer that would only use Butch. I have followed his lead employing Butch for all my work. I could not suggest a more dedicated,competent and fair individual. Thank You Butch for your fine workmanship and personal attention to detail. I appreciate your commitment and your taking the time through all the years.

I'm very happy with Butch at Midway Muffler. My 2005 Mercury Mariner was falling apart every week {brakes- transmission- entire exhaust system, etc.} I had Butch repair another car years ago so I took it to him for an estimate. The local Lincoln Mercury dealer had given me an estimate for the exhaust system of over $4200. Midway's estimate was $2985.
