Our history started when George and Ilda Askins aspired to make change for themselves and their community. They opened a garage in 1934, which became a Pontiac dealership five years later. Their success lasted until George’s death in 1966. With the future of the business then uncertain, Walter Scott, husband of George and Ilda’s daughter Charlotte, purchased the dealership from his mother-in-law.
