My dog Sammy developed acute gastritis on the weekend and needed to go to emergency vet clinic in Maumee. Vet there did labs and X-rays. They were normal. She sent her findings to Midway for the follow up appt. At the follow up apt Dr Huff looked at the X-ray and boldly announced there was a mass on Sammy's heart that was probably cancer. Greed is when Chewy has meds 1/2. priced. A full body scan ran me $276.00 a 2 yes ago and just last WK it was $389.00! Looking for a Vet that loves animals !
AWFUL, TERRIBLE, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. My dog just came home from having surgery where they were supposed to remove 4 cysts - two of them were rather large and uncomfortable for him. He's a 16-year-old Bassett Hound, so we were very hesitant to put him under anesthesia. When we picked him up, we discovered they had only removed ONE of the cysts even after reviewing with the staff the entire procedure at drop off where we explicitly outlined that 4 cysts were to be removed.
