I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place! I first went to Midtown Salon about 6 months ago and was looking for a great cut and highlights. I also needed a salon that helps clients who have trichotillomania (a hair pulling disorder). At first, I emailed them and got ahold of the manager, Tee. She was very nice and professional about helping me and made sure that when I got there I felt comfortable. I highly recommend Midtown Retreat Salon and Day Spa. It's a nice little excape from the stresses in life. I always leave this place feeling refreshed.
Tee did my hair and I love it! She took her time and didn't rush so that she could go home (my style had taken longer than expected and it was after hours) I will definitely be back for her to do my hair again!

I've loved this place since the first time I went there! I have naturally curly hair, so I'm pretty picky about who does it, but Chantil always does a fabulous job. She's done my color, highlights, cut, styling and even showed me how to put in my extension's always has good tips and suggestions and is very knowledgeable about hair products. Happy with the Results – I am happy with the results and have been back a few times. The staff here is very friendly and I have been very happy with the manicures and pedicures that I have received here.
Always Wonderful – Always a wonderful time at Midtown Retreat. It's the perfect little "getaway." I come here several times a month to relax. Every time I leave I feel young and refreshed.
I recently moved to downtown Houston and was looking for a place to get a Brazilian wax. I tried a spa that wasn't too far from me and was appalled. They attempted to "double dip" in to the wax and it just made my skin crawl. I left immediately and decided to conduct a more thorough research before trying it again.
