Brought my 5 yr old in for a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia. She only has one lung so you’d think they would get you results the same day, especially on a Friday. They never sent results to her pediatrician. They called and were on hold over 45 minutes with no response. Now it’s the weekend and we don’t know if she has pneumonia or not. Extremely upsetting to not know results with a sick child. And very unprofessional!
This place is ridiculous. What a joke. I spoke with the Palm Beach Gardens office a few times in scheduling my appointment on Burns Road a month ago. Now the afternoon before my appointment I'm called and told that my appointment was somehow changed to Lake Worth?!? When on the phone at 2 different points I was given confirmation that the appointment was scheduled with the Burns Road address in Palm Beach Gardens, because I'm going during the day, taking time off from my job for this long MRI. The actual imaging staff was great, however the front desk people are not too efficient and getting results takes weeks, which you would think telling someone they found something in the mammogram would be paramount!
Not sure what the point of making an appointment is. We have been sitting here for 45 minutes. 40 minutes past our "appointment" time.
Dishonest. They charge you as a out patient because the Good Samaritan hospital owns Mid Town Imaging and they ALSO own the " collections company". They bill you as a out patient at the hospital and charge enormous fees to insurance companies and claim you need to pay more out of pocket expenses. Make sure you research the connection between Good Samaritan Hospital and Mid-Town Imaging.
