Great place and people and honest. I'd gotten an oil change at valvoline in Harriman and they tried to say my van had a fuel leak.... I called Midtown Auto Body because they can be trusted.... their mobile mechanic came and checked out my van with a scope and everything and there's no fuel leak. Definitely recommend Midtown Auto Body for a first call even for a oil change because no matter what they do they'll be honest and take care of you.
Yesterday while coming back with a load of hay my truck lost all power steering and started to over heat. I was 4 miles from the house so we limped back home. I called Midtown auto body when I got home and realized my belt had in fact shredded. I knew they had recently added a mobile mechanic. With a trailer full of hay and the truck loaded with hay there was no way we were able to tow anywhere. This was at 12:40pm. got a car towed to me from midtown auto body a jeep wrangler...Midtown auto body charged this guy almost 800 dollars for a tune up spark plugs and a coil. only did 5 plugs and 5 wires and a o2 sensor...first thing is all the wires where run wrong not in the holders sloppy work 2nd thing is they didnt fix the car no change at all.....car got to my place I determined with in mins in need convertors....please do some diagnostic before just randomly changing parts this is what gives mechanics a bad rep.......no budget needs it w... read more
I don’t give many reviews and especially knowing as a business owner how important it is. But I am beyond unhappy with my experience with this place. My vehicle runs worst now than before after $700 wasted money just to change 5 plugs and o2 sensor. I know parts are high but not this high and no way labor this much. Pricing was not known upfront and couldn’t guarantee it would work. The only guarantee was to take my money for something I would be embarrassed to send out the door.
