I have been going to this establishment since before it was Midnight Coffee, specifically for the Green Goddess omelet. I have given it multiple trys and unfortunately the experience has gotten worse each time. This last time my husband and I ate there, maybe 3 other tables were filled. Staff- the cool staff that handled their job in a no-nonse, efficient way has been replaced with standoffish staff that is on their phones, which wouldnt bother me if i didnt have to wipe crumbs off my seat before sitting down. 1st time here and we were very impressed. Sadly they were out of pastries but we did come at noon so it makes sense. We’ll be back!
The breakfast tacos were delicious, but that's where the positives end. The service was lacking from start to finish. When I walked in, there were three employees standing at the counter, yet no one acknowledged my presence. Instead, I stood there waiting while they finished their personal conversation. A simple "hello" or "thanks for coming in" goes a long way. The coffee was also disappointing. I am not sure if I'll be able to stay for food because it smells strongly of bathroom/sewage smells in this restaurant. 😷
