If this is the insurance offered to you, run away. Run as fast as you can and find something else. ANYTHING else. The whole time we had Midlands, we had providers calling us because insurance wasn't making payments or processing claims, threatening to send us to collections, claiming we didn't have any coverage. We just had to pay cash for a service my daughter received over a year ago because Midlands has failed to pay for so long. We've now switched providers, and we're STILL dealing with nightmares from Midlands' failures... read more
RUN! They still haven't processed claims that are, now, 1 year old. They will not answer the phone for any billing department for my provider or myself (the phone rings but is never picked up). I was sent to the customer complaints department, filed a complaint, and now they too won't respond. I had a baby this last year and have paid three times my deductible, out of pocket, because providers are threatening to terminate care. This insurance may seem cheaper, but they are the most disorganized company I've ever worked with.... read more
