Talk about being slow, this ER is soooooo slow. They take forever to do anything. They don’t communicate well and you have to follow up with the nurse multiple times to get any response. Plan on being there all day and night if you go to the ER. You can go to Martin County hospital and get in and out, but never at Midland Memorial Hospital!
With all the reviews I was hesitant to bring my son here. But after 5 hrs with the emergency staff I feel the reviews are subpar and inaccurate. My son and I just left the er. It's Friday the 13th. My son broke his arm. The staff there were quick kind and patient. Caroline was our nurse and shaded the charge nurse. They were an effect team that got my son taken care of and made me feel confident they were going to take care of him. Dr. K, the tall guy with he infectious smile. They refused to take my son back. Tried to Force him to stand up when they saw he had a head injury. My son is 4. Horrific experience. We had to leave and take him somewhere that actually cared. He had a concussion. They had No empathy and threatened to kick my husband out. My son had a huge knot on his head of course we are going to panic!!! Never again. They need to get new staff.
