Third trip to the Outer Banks. Our previous 2 trips & rental companies were wonderful. No issues with the rentals at all. They were clean, spacious & as advertised. This year we used Midgett Realty. Nightmare! Unit Condition: 1. Kitchen chair cushions food crumbs all over them. Table had food in the grooves on the 2 ends. Nothing but the best when we stayed at the Reunion house in Hatteras! It was perfect!
Contrary to the negative reviews I can only say good things about Midgett Realty. We recently rented and our house was immaculate. When we did run into a couple of items needing attention the office responded promptly. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous in the as well. We have been coming to the Outer banks for many years and have utilized other rental companies. We do not plan to use any company other than Midgett from here on out!
Never had a problem. We rent through Midgett every time we go to Frisco (4-5 times now). And to "Google user" from 4 years ago... I don't think you really have a leg to stand on if you're admitting to NOT spending the extra 100 bucks for trip insurance, which is for weather-related cancellations.
