The way this company deceives customers is ridiculous. I got a ********************** unit for my daughter in college once the dorm closed in May. I paid two months in advance. I knew the next payment was due in July, so on June 29th, I went to the portal to make the payment. I paid the balance listed on my account and received a receipt for it. ******** customer service. I've had a problem occur EVERY month. They lost a payment, have raised rent to almost double, added locks and a third party has the codes, all virtual agents and most recently changed my access code without notification.
Midgard is the worst place i have ever encountered. They have charged me late fees and other fees that I should not be charged . I have been on auto pay since 12-28-22 when I first rented my unit. Every few months it doesnt get taken out and I did not get a notice then the next month they take $389. out of my account.. Now if they can take it out then why couldnt they take it out the month they claim I'm late on ? Thats what I want to know. My name is Ronald Clemmons I rent a unit in middle road in Florence Alabama. Midguard does not care about their customers at all. I have been a customer for 3 yrs . Everytime I turn around they are charging me for 2 months at a time for the amount of $369.00 . I'm on auto pay have been for months but it seems like they only take out my auto pay when they want to and when they do they claim I owe $369.00 Now how in the world could I owe that . I have been a customer for 3 yrs .My ********************** unit keeps going up every single month. And the people that work at my location are rude and dint even help me. My question is why do u have people working for u that treat your loyal customers so bad. My payment is suppose to be taken out of my bank account. . Deceptive business practice. I rented a very small space. And on the 4th mont, without notice, Midgard storage took 125% more out of my account than my contract amount. They did this twice. I have called and emailed. There is nothing I can do. They didn't honor their contract. I would NOT have rented this space for this incredibly high amount. It went from $45.37 to $101.17 without approval or notice. I'm just going to pay it and get my things out. I would worn other people, that this is a scam. They take advantage of you an... read more

RUN, don't walk.!!!! This is the worst company ever!!! Just do a little research and you will find a pattern of SO MANY issues and complaints. The company is crooked and dishonest. It's also impossible to talk to anyone in person or by phone. I could go on and on about all the issues I had with them, but it would take to long and just further aggravate me. Code wouldnt work for elevator, meth heads in the parking lot and follow you in. Increased rate to neither double in a year. Zero business ethics. None. They are holding my belongings hostage
