The lady at the front desk always has a look on her face of disgust every time I go in there. A very rude and unhappy woman. Just by looking at her face tells you she doesn't want to be there. She rolls her eyes and makes rude facial expressions when asked questions or when you ask her to do something. It's very unprofessional for the City of Middletown to have somebody like this as an employee. Hopefully she gets fired and this would be a big improvement for this department. I stopped by the City of Middletown Registrar’s Office to drop off a marriage license for one of my couples, and the experience was wonderful. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming, and the process was quick and seamless — I was in and out in no time! The office was spotless, and I couldn’t help but admire the beautiful architecture of the building. It’s always nice to visit a place that feels both professional and inviting.

The lady at this office has a sign on her desk that says “Ask someone else”. I think most people would agree that should not be allowed. My experience with her was unprofessional and upsetting.
