Middleton Tavern, one of the oldest taverns in the entire country is more than 250 years old. Located in a Georgian style house on Market Space, the inn shows signs of its history through decor like Civil War memorabilia on the walls, navy photos and landscape paintings. Some of the dishes which are popular here include seafood delicacies like oysters, crab cakes, rockfish and so on. On every Friday and Saturday, the restaurant has piano bar events.

Middleton Tavern is fun> Middleton's Tavern is a great place to eat while enjoying the sights in downtown Annapolis. Great food and good entertainment at affordable prices. You won't be disappointed.
Let me just start by saying giving this restaurant a 1 star is being friendly. The service was absolultly horrible. The waiter was in his own world. We sat down and lkuckly next to where the water was being poured because we got so thirsty we poured our own. We then proceeded to order appitizers. We ordered mussells, clams casino, and crab balls, we sat and waited 28 mins till our entreess appeared. Which was wierd because we were expecting our apps to come out. great fun Good times to be had here. Awesome location. Prices are right. oyster shooters are very tasty. Great bands. This is definitely the place to be in Annapolis.
Excellent Atmosphere and Food! We have been to Annapolis on several occasions and each time, we make it a point to have one dinner at the Middleton Tavern. It has an "Old Waterfront" atmosphere, fireplaces in the dining rooms, and very good food. The seafood choices are wonderful but equally as nice were the other choices, such as the Steak Dianne , for those that may not be seafood lovers. The service is attentive and fast. This is NOT a cheap place to eat but for the atmosphere and quality of the food, it is a Must Go To!
Annapolis Landmark-Great Overall – This a great place to unwind. The food is very good and the place rocks with local music. This is a great all around place to drink and dine with friends. If you are visiting Annapolis you must visit this landmark and share in the fun. This is not a gourmet dining experience but gets a high rating for overall experience and entertainment.
Best Caesar Salad & Sat.Nite – THE place in Annapolis for Caesar salad, made from scratch and rivals the best in the world. Saturday nite has outstanding entertainment in bar area thanks to a very talented and intelligent manager who books the group. What a GREAT night!
Good Food – The food was great and the service was good. We were having a real nice romantic dinner until the live band started playing downstairs. Kind of ruined the atmosphere. Get rid of the band! Had to wait a long time to get my water glass refilled!
