The historical information and gardens were great. The restaurant was mediocre.
We have never seen gardens so beautiful. They have done a marvelous job of blending nature with manicured gardens. The restaurant is not bad either, with a jaw dropping view.
Like so many other first-time visitors to Charleston, we were confused over which historic homes and plantations/gardens to visit. We started with Middleton Place, and it ended up being our favorite spot! It is so beautiful and tranquil, there is so much to see, and we didn't allow nearly enough time.
