Although the office is beautiful and the staff is friendly, this practice sent my protected health information, insurance, and phone number to a pharmacy I had never heard of, without my permission. This is *illegal*. I have preferred pharmacies in my patient profile, yet nobody asked if I wanted my PRIVATE info sent somewhere else. The office manager called me after I canceled my appointment and apologized, but kept trying to justify their actions. Inexcusable.
My routine colonoscopy was supposedly covered by 100% insurance but Middlesex Digestive Health added on a separate $1750 "facility fee" for which I'm responsible. This is new since 2019 when I had my last colonoscopy which was properly covered. The Dr and people are terrific, but the facility is highly deceptive in their billing. There was no mention of this at any time until they billed me. Watch out before you book and ask them up front what the TOTAL charges will be!
Excellent experience before and after the visit. Dr. Lin is extremely attentive and explained everything prior to the colonoscopy and followed up afterwards, before I left. The following morning, I received a text asking how I was feeling and whether I needed to speak to a nurse about any questions I had. All good.
