We remain sitting in the waiting room - now about 45min behind schedule. The clinic seems less focused on patient health and is shifting toward automation/portals etc and lessening contact with patients. Organization is not optimal. Its sad. Ive gone here (to the old clinic on Ilderton road and this one) for over 40 years. Id really like to speak to someone about our experience. I feel like less than a number.
My Dad who has had skin cancer in the past goes to a family doctor here (Dr.Maythers or however it’s spelt) anyways, he has new spots on his face that are concerning and when he went to the doctor about it he was just told they couldn’t do anything because no dermatologist is taking referrals right now, when he mentioned his skin cancer he previously had on his face they just repeated there’s no place taking referrals. Is this a joke ? You give him a cream to put on his face and send him on his way? I’m disgusted.
They seem to have the knowledge, but genuinely don't want to help. Never seen the same person twice. Last visit I waited 13 days and was met with confrontation and dismissiveness instantly. Multiple issues identified in the very brief exam, these were quickly glossed over and I was told to try youtube videos and to get my own urinalysis. Blamed issues with visits dating back to childhood on my career choice, but in the same breath said it happens to desk workers/wfh as well. Dr. Mather is hands down the best family Doctor. Efficient, professional, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. The Middlesex Centre is clean, organized, well structured and also very efficient. We are very lucky to have such a phenomenal family Physician. Thank you for everything you do, you are greatly appreciated.
I second the review below of not having enough characters to begin to list everything. The care they show their patients is pretty much zero, and you have to be ready to advocate and fight for; everything, to get anything done there. Only reason I’m still with them is because I can’t find another option. Booking with them is terrible the wait times are ridiculous, put it in perspective, last time I needed serious care, I went to the ER— since you can’t even walk into a walk in clinic without getting an angry letter in the ma... read more
