Trash power company. At least once to two times per month I’ll come home and the power has been off. I’d rather pay a little more and actually have a real utility company that does the right thing. Terrible in every way. I’m actually moving out of the area and this is one reason why.

Our power went out and we received a call minutes later from Middleboro G&E asking if we had power. Their system was showing only a few houses in our area without power (with no storms today) so they were calling to confirm before dispatching a crew. Power was restored less than a half hour later, and they even called again to make sure our power was back on. Apparently a pesky squirrel caused the outage. Talk about awesome customer service. Horrible rates. Never have lived in a town where the power goes out more. System goes down on the hottest days of the year or during light winds. Lagging behind other companies. Painfully slow repair times and no estimate as to when power will come back up. Horrible service. Horrible system. I’m a couple towns over from where the pilgrims landed and still using their electric system
