I took my mom to see this clown. I don't even think he is worth one star, but I have to give it just to post this review. Dr. McCarter is rude, disrespectful, arrogant, uncaring, and a plain hateful person. He was only interested in fixing mom's veins...even though she was not there for her veins. Must be more money from the vein work than what mom was actually suffering from.
I had hernia repair surgery yesterday. Every person involved with my surgery was stellar. Professional, effective, & efficient. Post op pain in the wake up room was managed effectively. My post op appt. is upcoming 11/23/23. Dr. McCarter's confidence & knowledge put my anxieties to rest. I will be having other things fixed with him. Very grateful.
Dr. McCarter absolutely saved my life during the worst medical event in my 68-year history. I developed a colovesical fistula (look it up) in February. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Each passing day was a nightmare. Painful, disgusting, horrific. After a nearly weeklong stay at CRMC with no clear treatment path and contradicting opinions between doctors, I contacted my primary physician and asked to be referred to a specialist.
