Terrible place. The vet doesn't know what he's doing and tries to pawn issues off on to some other problem. They are very expensive and overcharge for nail clipping. ($35). I would not recommend them if your looking for a good honest vet.

I've been taking my dogs to Middle Road Animal Clinic for several years now and have the utmost respect for Dr Lohr and his staff....it's clean..their efficient...professional AND friendly! I've always had pets and have been to vetinerians all over the city.....by far Middle Road Animal Clinic excels at their work!
HORRIBLE experience! Dr Lohr performed what was supposed to be a routine neuter surgery on my dog yesterday, to my horror they sent him home to us unchecked and very sick ! NO ONE in the office noticed that my dogs scrotal sac had swelled to the size of a softball filled with blood! We rushed him to ER animal hospital bc Dr Lohr did not answer our calls 2 minutes after they closed and then insisted we bring our dog back to him or he would not be responsible for any ER bills ! This clinic has made no provisions for pet owners during the Carina pandemic. I am an older female who has been a long time client. My dog recently had a gastrointestinal issue that she gets yearly, causing severe diarrhea. When I called to request medicine, they would not dispense it unless I brought her to the office. Tiny rooms where you cannot social distance. No offer to check her stool, do a Telemed visit, or see her outside on their grounds.
