The picnic area is nice and the beach would be amazing with a week of repair and upkeep on their paths down from the parking. The bathrooms could really use some work too.
Beach was decent but the fee to park was ridiculous. Walks down to the beach aren't convenient or easy if your hauling coolers or other equipment. Boat gas fumes infiltrate the entire beach. Would recommend going to other beaches on this lake over this one.
The best beach, a nice pavilion that can be rented out with a private parking lot. It’s perfect for group outings at Pineview.
Very nice place for a picnic or a day trip. we had so much fun. Bring lots of shade and sun block. If you reserve this area, you can back a trailer right down near the water to unload kayaks and gear. Parking is near the water, and the picnic pavilion is wonderful and not far from the water. It was very clean and well maintained.
