As a resident of Treasure Island and a limitation of upscale restaurant here, I have dined at Middle Grounds several times. Historically good service, always average food ( at least for the price point) however a nice ambiance (semi-outdated). The past two recent visits I found the service of the staff to have declined dramatically. Looks Nice, But Not Consistent – The decor is fabulous, and it is one of the few upscale restaurants in Treasure Island. But the food is not consistent with the image that Middle Grounds is trying to project, especially for the price. I would recommend drinks and appetizers, but not entrees.
Excellent Food and Service – I have been to Middle Grounds many times for special occasions and just evenings out. I would highly recommend it to others. My wife and I have tried numerous items on the menu and have never been disappointed.
Middle Grounds Grill: Great Food, Incredible Service! – On our first trip to Treasure Island, we were told that we simply MUST eat at the Middle Grounds Grill. As we entered, we were greeted and seated immediately by the friendly hostess. We enjoyed looking at the fish tank, and she re-seated us in a perfect viewing location. Rude Trashy Hostesses and Horrible FOOD – This is by far the worst Restaurant t I have EVER been. The tone was set right as entered. The Hostesses was rude and trashy looking, she thought she had class but clearly had NO CLASS at all. Her clothes were too small and she was pouring out of every opening.
