AVOID this place at all costs, especially if you’re a senior or a Disabled Veteran. What they did was absolutely unethical. My coworker, a retired Disabled Veteran (with license plates to prove it) and senior citizen , took his truck in for an overheating issue. Instead of honest help, they buried him in jargon. They claimed his engine heads were cracked and warped, insisting the only solution was a complete engine replacement, which they would happily do for $16,000. Our company has been owed an overpayment refund from Midas since January. Their accounting dept have been giving me the run around. If they were a good upstanding company, I would not have had to ask (numerous times) for a refund, they would have issued a refund as soon as the overpayment hit their books.
I tried to make an appointment online. Their website said that they were taking appointments until 530. They called back and said they stop taking appointments at 430. Fine…but change the website to reflect that. I went down the road and spent my money at Autozone. Did the oil change and battery change myself.
Good service and helpful staff
I brought my car in a few months ago because it sometimes wouldn't start on the first crank, but always started on the second try. They diagnosed it as the starter and cam. Today the issue started up again. Research says its the fuel pressure and was never the starter even though I was told the starter was burnt out. I hope they didnt lie to me.
