These guys were great. My car broke down on Powers and I call and talked to Brian and after going through it all with him on the phone he found out that my car was still under warranty with GM. He got my vehc towed to the dealer and made sure I had a ride too. All this hard work for no cost, that is a honest person that I will deal with from now on! Thank you Brian for all that you do!
This auto place was a real rip off. When I came to get my car inspected they made up repairs that I needed and tried to scam me almost $2000 worth of unnecessary repairs. I went to another mechanic who said I needed to only fix ONE thing which cost me only $150. It was only because I was a woman did they felt the need to jack prices and intimidate me into thinking my car was going to break down if I didn't shell out $2000. What! I recently went to midas and i will never go again. The manager was really a car salesman and will try to sell you things your car doesnt even have, and he will lie and say they did it. This is the third time theese crooks have done this. If i can give anyone any sound advice, it would be: DONT GO TO MIDAS!!
This location is the biggest rip-off, dnt waste your time or money!
Mechanics were knowledgeable, courteous, honest.
One thing to note, always ask for a quote before allowing them to work on your car. This Midas branch on Alafaya and Colonial checked my breaks and indicated that not only were my break pads bad but my rotors were also damaged beyond repair and need to be replaced, about a $500 job. They were adamant that driving this car any further is VERY dangerous and guaranteed that I was going to get into an accident if I ignored their service.
