I buy new truck every two years. I have used a shop n dearborn adn in southgate in the past, both closed up. I went to mid west truck accessories for my cap on my new truck, I was ver happy. Clean stor, good price adn tehy paid attention to details. Much better than the other places I have been to.
I sent my wife down to Mid-West to have a class II hitch on her Rav-4. The manager, Denis , was very discourteous to her and treated her like she was some "dumb blond." She asked him how long it would take to install the hitch and he said I don't know we have never worked on a Toyota, like there was something wrong with owning a foreign car. Have purchased several truck caps at Mid-West Truck Accessories over the last 15 years. Very happy with prices, service and selection. Good group of people who seem to really care about the customer. Very reputable business.
They advertise a lowest price guarantee, but when I called them on it the staff was very reluctant and borderline hostile about lowering their price. Their installation was shoddy; when I asked them to fix their work they became extremely hostile again! They refused to fix it! I had to get it fixed at the Mid-West Truck Accessories store in Redford, MI. They were extremely helpful and immediately fixed the installation problems.
