I went in for a fasting ultrasound scheduled for the afternoon. I hadn’t eaten or drank anything for 24 hours prior, and had a splitting headache. When I got there, there was no one waiting. As I waited, other people began showing up. To my dismay, they were all being called in before me. I realize there are different imaging types, but four people arriving after me were taken in before.
