I'm currently pregnant with my first child, I called to schedule an appointment when I first discovered I was pregnant- around 5 weeks. They couldn't get me in until 9 1/2 weeks, not a big deal. I go for my appointment, I'm there for about 2 hours, filling out paperwork, answering questions, asking questions, etc. They inform me that throughout my pregnancy I will have ONE ultrasound, at 20 weeks. they did not do a pelvic exam. the NP said I would get a pelvic exam at 13 weeks.
