One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a doctor. They billed my insurance $900 and tried to charge me over $500… I had to listen to the lady doing the testing and the lady in the office going back-and-forth about where was the doctor and they needed him there to sign things and asked again. Where was the doctor? When is he going to be back all this while I was trying to do my testing. If I could give a "0" I would. My dad was referred for testing by his Neurologist to diagnose dementia. When my parents were called for scheduling, they were informed that they would not see him because he has not received Covid vaccinations. I reviewed their website, as I felt this was a form of discrimination and violation of patient autonomy and the website clearly stated "We require all patients and their families to wear face masks while in our office. One day Mid Michigan Neuropsychology called to tell us that they had a referral from my daughter's neurologist for testing. My daughter had been stricken with viral encephalitis and resulting brain damage. An appointment was arranged at the psychologist's office which is an hour and a half from where we live. We had three telephone contacts with their office before the appointment in preparation for the early morning visit. We arrived at the appointed time and were asked what insurance we had.
