Middle Island Physical Therapy offers a very friendly, welcoming, and family like atmosphere. Bob, the owner truly cares about his patients and ensuring that they heal. I have gone to other PT’s and felt unsupported which can easily lead to further injury, but with Middle Island therapy, they are there for you, guiding you the entire way. they have knowledgeable therapists on staff. They have a friendly atmosphere and Bob cares about all his patients.
The place old, worn down and dingy. The chairs you sit in to rehab are all ripped open old vinyl covered kitchen chairs. The heat/cold packs look old and stained. The staff gave instructions like robots not listening to what you said, just saying the same prerecorded type message instead of connecting and understanding your concerns. Went once, I will never go back.

Some years ago a severe car accident left me with neck and shoulder pain. Headaches were frequent. Orthopedic doctor wanted me to take pain medication. Thanks to Bob and his staff, I never had to take a single pill.
