The Mid-America String Quartet played for my father’s Celebration of Life. Their arrangements brought joy, soothed, and filled the space with beauty as guests arrived. Words were spoken, pictures shared, but it was the music that comforted our hearts. They did not have an arrangement for a requested piece; and yet what a surprise to hear it played at the closing! The Mid-America String Quartet played at our wedding in Tulsa two weeks ago and they were superb. From the traditional wedding music at the ceremony to popular pieces played during the opening hour of the reception, they knew when to be elegant and when a lighter tone was in order. At the end of the event they handed over the music to the DJ by playing a rousing rendition of Oklahoma!, which had the guests singing along. We hired the Mid America String Quartet for our wedding in 1998 and couldn't have been happier with their performance. I have heard them at several other events since then and they always sound beautiful. I always recommend them to friends or coworkers when I hear that someone is planning a wedding. The entire process from selecting the music to the actual performance was professional through and through. Thanks Mike!!
We hired the Mid-America String Quartet for our company holiday party a few years ago. The music made the party come alive! They had a wide variety of music and everyone LOVED having them. They were all consummate professionals and superb musicians. As I cannot imagine a better musical group to be found anywhere for such an occasion, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for the special touch this group provides.
