The tech from Midwest Drain was fantastic. He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and went above and beyond by getting on the roof to clear the vent stack. He was thorough, professional, and took the time to explain everything... including why certain toilet paper brands are hard on older pipes. Problem solved in under an hour for a very fair price. Highly recommend.

No one showed or called for my 9:00 am drain cleaning. I expressed I had appointments leading into the day and if they could not be here at 9:00 to call before because I can’t sit around all day. The technician they sent out, Brock, was an absolute gem. He arrived right on time, was incredibly polite, and took the time to explain everything he was doing in a way that made total sense. They charged me over $700 to look at a drain blockage and tell me that they can't do it and I need to hire someone else. I ended up having to call someone else out last minute who actually fixed the issue, a few hours after Mid America Drain Services said they couldn't accomplish. I guess there is a reason this place requires a credit card on file before they accomplish any "work". I would not go with this company, there are plenty of other good plumbers in the area.
