My experience with the shop was good, I would recommend it if you are patient. He repaired a boombox tape deck for me and overhauled it a little as part of the entrance fee.

Great service. Dropped a 1984 Akai graphic equalizer off with a pile of small issues and Microtech breezed through them in just a week or two, got it back and have been using it without issue. Will definitely be back!
After 20+ years my old Vestax DJ mixer got really noisy and all the controls were dirty and super noisy when you moved them. Thankfully, Larry was extremely thorough and did an amazing job cleaning all the knobs and switches and replaced some capacitors in the power supply. Cost for the work was very fair. piece of gear. I highly recommend Microtech! Larry is extremely knowledgeable and really knows his stuff! My teen daughter purchased her first car, a used 2005 Honda Accord, but after only one week, her audio system in the car stopped working. The Honda dealership was no help as they were more interested in replacing the entire unit for thousands of dollars. That's when I found Larry at Microtech Audio Repair! Best call I ever made.
