I purchased 2 helmets from MicroDot and the helmets were recalled for the following reason; MicroDOT Helmet Co. has decided that its Blister Original, Twister Original, and Twister 2.0 ABS with model numbers XR-205 or KY-609 motorcycle helmets fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 218. I’m a long time customer of MicroDOT. I first ordered a blister years ago and at Thunder Beach picked up a couple more lids. When I saw the new purple, I had to have it to match my new bike. I can’t wait to roll to Thunder Beach this year with my new lid!
