This is the only place I go for computer equipment needs. Been coming here for years, I’m glad we have one in Chicago!
This store took advantage of my sister when she went in to purchase a laptop. I spent the time doing research for her on what she needed for her requirements. They instead convinced her to purchase a completely different laptop that doesn't suit her needs and got her to purchase an additional desktop that also doesn't do what she needs. They took advantage of a computer illiterate person to offload product she doesn't need and tricked her into spending money she shouldn't have.

AWESOME experience! So glad I made the 45-minute drive over here. I was anticipating online deals on an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X for Labor Day, but this was sadly in vain. Instead, upon Googling the CPU, I found it in stock on this store's website and learned that there are 2 individual locations in Chicagoland. Having certainly heard of Micro Center before but never set foot in one, I was delighted to learn that it's essentially Home Depot for computer parts.
