700 miles away from my home in Colorado, my Subaru Outback broke down outside of Butte Montana. It didn't just breakdown, but rather blew-out the engine. Mick's kept me updated on what was happening, ordered a new engine/radiator, and did excellent work. The mechanics were knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend no one goes to Mick's, and actually goes to a place that cares about their customers, not what's in their wallets. Thanks to these guys, our SUV is in the shop for the third time. Before we bought it, the previous owners took it there to have a small problem fixed; the engine kept revving while it was idle. No big deal, it still ran just fine. Mick's is the home-town friendly place where they will charge you $1800 for a major engine repair, then when your engine blows up 300 miles down the road, Mick himself will get on the phone and tell you---"We didn't work on THAT part of your engine." Hey, Mick maybe you should have checked the oil pressure pump when you did a major engine repair, you think? Your little error cost me approximately $5000. But you know that. If my long-time "trusted" mechanics will do this for me, just imagine what Mick might do for you!

I ended up with a check engine light illuminated on my way from WA to UT, stopped in Butte and had it checked here. They didn't charge me a penny to pull the code and give me advice that I'm fine to continue on. If ever I'm in MT again I know where to take my girl if she breaks down! Courteous, kind and honest people.
