I've never felt this at ease at a haircut. I'm travelling to Seattle for the first time. I usually feel super tense, unable to speak and uncomfortable saying what I want at a barber, but Micki saw through this. They repeatedly checked in and conversation flowed easily, they even left me with a fidget toy that I'll take back home with me! I didn't feel rushed or uncomfortable, but comfortably at home. My experience with Micki was definitely one of the best hair experiences I've ever had! They were so kind and friendly, offered fidget toys, earplugs, and a weighted lap blanket. They made sure the water temperature was perfect for me, they turned a show on for my kiddo and were so lovely with him too. Their dog, Timtam, was a wonderful little fluffball and kiddo and I enjoyed having an animal there. Micki is the best! I have been trying to find a reliable, friendly, and trustworthy person to cut my hair for quite some time and I’m SO glad a friend recommended Micki! They did a fantastic job on my curly cut and I keep hoping my hair grows faster so I can book another appointment with the gem of a human being.
